Ninety Ninth Installation Meeting
W.Bro. Gavin Dare - Worshipful Master
Monday 4th of November 2019 saw the ninety ninth Installation Meeting of the South Kent Lodge.
As always, it was well attended by guests and visitors.
The Provincial Grand Mentor, W. Bro. David Heley, attended as the representative of the Provincial Grand Master.
W. Bro. Reg Millsom, W.M. of the Ethelbert Lodge 2099, occupied the chair of S.W.
W. Bro. Andy Walton, W.M. of the Ashford Lodge 8945, occupied the chair of J.W.
W. Bro. Derek Warner acted as I.G.
The Master Elect., W. Bro. Gavin Dare, was ably installed in the Chair by two Installing Masters, W.Bro. Dennis Fordham and W.Bro. Mick Smith.
The new Master then proceeded to invest his Officers.
Many congratulations to W.Bro Gavin in attaining the Chair of King Solomon for the second time in the South Kent Lodge, although he has been W.M. a number of times before in previous Lodges.
It was also good to see some Brethren progressing though the offices, whilst some of our newer members took office for the first time.
We wish them well for the forthcoming year, as we do the new Master.
There followed a Festive Board which was enjoyed by all.
W. Bro. Gavin can look forward to a promising and enjoyable year ahead, ably supported by his officers and Lodge members.
