Christmas White Table Evening

Monday 3rd of December 2018 the South Kent Lodge held their traditional Christmas White Table Evening.
It is seen as an opportunity to invite wives, partners and prospective Masons to come along not only to celebrate Christmas but to meet Freemasons in their "natural habitat".
As always it was well attended by guests and visitors.
Prior to the Festive Board, a short meeting was conducted to transact the usual Masonic business.
The Festive Board proceeded starting with pate and toast followed by a carvery of several meats, accompanied with the usual trimmings, and finally rounded off with Christmas pudding.
There was a full programme of entertainment for all the brethren and guests.
W. Bro. Mick Smith compered the evening and presented a musical quiz.
W. Bro. Gavin Dare, a professional Quizmaster, devised a festive quiz for us all which exercised our "grey matter" to the full.
W. Bro. Reg Millsom provided a musical interlude which was followed by everyone singing a few Christmas Carols.
It was a great final event for 2018 so now the South Kent Lodge is looking forward to a busy and enjoyable 2019.
