Christmas White Table Evening

Monday 4th of December 2017 the South Kent Lodge held their traditional Christmas White Table Evening.
It is seen as an opportunity to invite wives, partners and prospective Masons to come along not only to celebrate Christmas but to meet Freemasons in their "natural habitat".
As always it was well attended by guests and visitors.
Prior to the Festive Board, a short meeting was conducted to transact the usual Masonic business.
During this time all the non masonic guests were admirably looked after by W.Bro. Derek Warner.
The Festive Board proceeded starting with pate and toast followed by a carvery of turkey accompanied with the usual trimmings and finally rounded off with Christmas pudding.
The Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Gavin Dare, a professional Quizmaster, devised a festive quiz for us all which exercised our "grey matter" to the full.
This was followed by the singing of a few Christmas Carols with W.Bro. Mick Smith and W. Bro. Reg Millsom taking the lead.
The final event of 2017 now over, the South Kent Lodge is looking forward to a busy and enjoyable year ahead.
