Double Raising for
Bro John Terry & Michael Lee
Our regular meeting held on 6th March 2023 was another special occasion for John and Michael having both been Initiated and passed together were able to complete their journey once more together.
The whole evening was great from start to finish, with committed candidates who answered their questions together with confidence and clarity, which set the scene for what was to follow.
W.M. W. Bro. Marc Terry opened the lodge, then proceeded to carry out the early part of the proceedings before inviting W. Bro Mick Smith to occupy the Chair of King Solomon to carry out the first part of the ceremony partly assisted by W. Bro Dennis Fordham.
W. Bro Phil Lambkin from the chair carried out the second section with the assistance of W. Bro Derek Warner.
The ceremony was nicely rounded off with the presentation of the working tools by Bro. Peter Bowden-Rooke.
Brother Peter Bowden-Rooke Senior Deacon, and Bro. Jez Bromley, Junior Deacon, working as a team conducted both candidates around the Lodge, what a marvellous job they did.
The evening was then rounded off with a superb festive board.
A big "Thank You" too to all the brethren, who contributed to make the evening a special and memorable occasion for John and Michael, well done to all.
