Third Degree Raising for Bro. Peter Bowden-Rooke
Our new Master Mason with the South Kent Lodge Officers who conducted the ceremony.
Our regular meeting of 13th of May 2019 was a Third Degree Raising for Bro. Peter Bowden-Rooke.
It was a most enjoyable evening.
The Worshipful Master, W.Bro. John O'Connor conducted the first part of the ceremony.
It was continued by no less than three Past Masters, W.Bro. Gary Epps, W.Bro. Dennis Fordham and W.Bro. Fil Thompson.
They were ably assisted by the officers of the Lodge.
The ceremony was nicely rounded off with the presentation of the Working Tools by Bro. Marc Terry, which he did in a most confident and sincere manner.
The evening was a great example of the teamwork which exists in the Lodge.
We have no doubt that Bro. Peter Bowden-Rooke will look back on the evening as another special occasion, completing his three degrees in Pure and Ancient Freemasonry.
In addition, a successful ballot was taken for joining member Bro. Peter James Manning.
All the members of the South Kent Lodge would like to welcome Bro. Manning to the Lodge and also congratulate Bro. Bowden-Rooke as he now embarks on his Masonic journey seeking further enlightenment.
